Beautiful!
I bought this watch as a Valentine's Day gift for my boyfriend. Although he has several watches, he immediately started wearing this one. He loved the blue face and medium tan leather strap, which go with his casual and formal outfits. Very nice for a young guy in his late 20s but certainly any age.

The new CTO model is a color feast for the eyes with its deep blue face and orangish-tan leather band. The CTO style has been around a couple of years, but this new style adds day and date dials to the face for added information. The day dial is easy to read, but tends to get blocked by the hands during many hours of the day. The date circle of 31 days uses the odd days as Arabic numbers and even days as indux marks in between. Usually this design works well to calculate the day when it isn't pointing to the exact date number. Other Citizen models use Arabic numbers every five days and that is pretty hard to interpret which day in between the 5 and 10th, etc., it is. The only problem with this watch's date dial is that the font is so small you may strain to read it. With all that said, I still love the look of this watch. It's very stylish and goes great with Khakis and a button down shirt, or a casual jeans outfit. The watch band is thick, so you'll have to use a little extra effort to fasten the band, but it looks great and feels comfortable. The thickness of this watch is greater by a few millimeters than the previous CTO series with date field only. I'm not sure what the reason is for the thickness adjustment, but it will not be as slim at other models. It will still fit comfortably within a long sleeve cuff. The hands have white accented color strips on silver background for very good contrast with the blue face. You'll never have trouble reading the time like you would on some of the Citizen designs. There are not glow-in-the-dark elements on this watch, so you can't read the time in the dark. The price of just over $100 is a great bargain for this watch. It's styling and comfort are first rate, and of course, it's solar-powered.
