I am pleasantly surprised at how much I like this watch! I definitely got a fresh one - sold directly through Amazon (no 3rd party seller) - and I couldn't be happier with the condition of the watch as well as the packaging it came in. The gray color is perfect in that it isn't as boring as black and it doesn't scream "look at me" as their other colors like red, white or yellow. All the functions work beautifully and it sits very comfortably on my wrist. The screen is highly legible as well - I've seen the negative screen in stores and although it looks cool, it's pretty hard to read - and all the different time zones offered makes this the perfect watch for traveling. Think about it: it can take a beating, you can go swimming with it, you can track the time from anywhere in the world and in a horrible scenario that you lose it or it gets stolen, it's not a big deal because it's not a $10K Rolex or anything. Anyway, if you're looking for a cool looking G-Shock that can perform all the functions of a traveler's watch, I highly recommend this one. Oh, and in regards to people's complaints about the vibration being too weak, I would say it depends on what you use it for. If you just want a quiet reminder while you're in a meeting, at dinner, basically while you're awake, this strength of the vibration is fine. But if you want it to wake you up at 5AM, I'd probably opt for beep mode. Definitely not a deal breaker just because it doesn't have the strength to electrocute you.

I had my 1st G-shock when I was in the USMC, the G-shock line has proven to be tough, water resistant , easy to use & easy to read at night on patrol. I put my watches through hell as an 0311, Grunt The G350-8, is the best G-shock I have owned. Absolutely love the big screen and the light is great. Again Casio has another winner. I may not be in the USMC any longer but im still loving G-shock. If you are considering the GD350-8, don't wait any longer......
