Very good watch
I did quite a bit of research before buying this watch, so I knew exactly what to expect and therefore there were no surprises. It’s keeping great time so far and the 80 hr. Power reserve is nice too. I love the functionality of the watch and the ease of telling the time. The numbers really help. I wish Hamilton made a non-field watch version without the 24hr markers and I also wish it had screw down crown. Other than that I love the watch. I’ve had it about 3 weeks and I’ve worn it at least 5 days a week since. I like the brushed case, but the polished bezel has already picked up a scratch ot two. I’d rather polished case and brushed bezel since the bezel always seems to pick up the most scratches for me. Overall I really love the watch and I’m happy with it.
awesome deal
perfect purchase, thank you!
Very pleased!
The 38mm Hamilton Khaki Auto is great bang for the buck! And, my Jomashop purchasing experience was awesome!
Extremely Pleased!
Watch arrived quickly and in good order. Very satisfied with my purchase from Jomashop. This is actually my second order of the Hamilton Khaki Field Automatic. I received the first one with the bracelet and the second with the brown leather strap. Both the bracelet and leather strap are of excellent quality. I've been wearing the one with the bracelet for the last two weeks and it's keeping a consistent +1 second/day with the new H-10 movement. The rotor has the newly designed fancy H cut out and the crown is embossed with the block letter H. It sounds crazy but I spent about two weeks comparing the Hamilton Khaki Field Automatic H70455133 with a ton of other watches online before I made my final decision to buy the Hamilton. I liked that one so much that I purchased the same watch with the leather strap H70455533. Both in the perfect size of 38mm. I couldn't be happier with my choices. I'm definitely not a watch aficionado but in my opinion the watch's design, weight, feel, and general overall quality of workmanship equals that of a $400 timepiece (the most I've ever spent on a watch). Not to mention it’s accuracy. Four hundred dollars is quite a bit of change to spend on a watch when all I have to do is glance at my iPhone to get the precise time. When paying that much or more for a product I expect it to last a lifetime. With proper maintenance I believe this watch is that sort of product. Something to hand down to my grandkids, much like my guns or pocket knives. Watches, guns and pocket knives become very personal items over the years. If you're wondering, I wore a Casio G-Shock Tough Solar Atomic watch MTG-910DA (2638) for the last nine years taking it on many deployments with the Army to Iraq and Kuwait and the only reason I looked for a new watch was a new found love for automatics/mechanicals. If you're looking for a watch that will take a hell of a beating in all kinds of weather conditions then I can't say enough about that particular G-Shock. Still going strong without any kind of maintenance or battery change and I bought it used so no telling how long it’s actually been in service. So back to the Hamilton. Completely satisfied with the look, fit, finish and accuracy. The history of the piece and brand is a bonus. Funny but I find myself looking at it all the time. I’m a grunt so I can’t wait to test it in the field but hopefully not on another deployment. I can do without that. So far so good. Only time will tell. I'll try to add pictures of them on the wrist. In the meantime, go forth and do great things.
Field watch that doubles as a dress watch
Versatile and accurate
Great for the smaller wrist
Great watch, but not completely what I expected. Fantastic history, build quality and presence. The movement, bracelet and display back are stand-outs at this price point. On the down-side, I wish it had a larger face (say a 40mm case and thinner bezel) less reflective crystal and a smaller crown. From what I've read the 42mm is too big for many wearers which is a pity. I think one 40mm model with some updates would be perfect.
Great watch
It’s a wonderfully understated watch for everyday wear. The 38mm size is perfect and disappears on the wrist. Has adequate lume on the hands, though the numerals disappear quickly. I’ve washed two dogs, two kids and a truck while wearing the watch with no signs of water intrusion. Whether on the metal bracelet, nato, or leather strap this watch ranges from dressy to casual all the way to work tool. My specific watch came in and settled at 2 seconds a day time keeping. The only con is the polished bezel that came to show scratches extremely early. Other than that, this is a great watch that will last a lifetime and I’m very satisfied with Jomashop and Hamilton

Transaction was smooth. Love the watch!
On the Edge of Perfection
Much has been said in the debate between the ETA2824-2 and subsequent H-10 movements. To me they are as chalk is to cheese. The Hamilton Khaki Field Automatic 38mm that I received has the latter. The newer version of the latter with the curvier H logo on the rotor. What can you ask for in a mechanical movement that holds over 80 hours of power reserve (in a single barrel), and has a stability that exceeds COSC standards (once fully wound)? I set this watch as soon as I received it a few weeks ago, and it has drifted at most +/-3 seconds (gross) over that time. This makes it more stable than a fashion quartz watch that I own. I have found how to "steer" the watch by placing the watch face up at night to gain time and crown down to lose time (with deviations of about +1 and -2 seconds per day, respectively). The quality of the face and overall finishing is fantastic. Flawless. The sapphire crystal is very reflective. I think the designers were looking for this effect when they made the watch. It brings a flair of dressiness into what was traditionally a tool watch. The crown gets a lot of flack in the media for being so big. I thought so too, until I wound it for the first (and only) time. Absolute buttery delight! It is worth having a crown that large just to feel the winding action of the H-10. Although, I do wonder why it was so large if I have never needed to touch it again because of the stability of the movement. I'll probably need to do something at the end of September to flip the date over to Oct 1st. Finally, the achilles heal of my watch. With all this beauty and perfection, the second hand of my watch is slightly bent. Not too overtly, but enough to be noticeable by the unaided eye. I was torn between keeping the watch (considering all the great points I listed above) and sending it back (at a cost to me no doubt and risk receiving a replacement that may not stack up to what I have been treated to). I just couldn't part with it, but I am reminded daily that to get to different league of perfection, we have to jump to a different price bracket.
very good
very good watch but it's take 3-5 weeks to be ready to ship and about week or two to arrive. jomashop should ship with company like aramex,FedEx or dhl to be fast.
