This is a solid, no nonsense, great everyday watch. It gets head nods from those that know watches as well as compliments from those that don't. It looks good, feels good, and with the 80 hour power reserve I can take it off for a weekend and not worry about time. Then smile as I put it on Monday ready to get things done.

Ordered my amazing Hamilton Khaki King time piece on Oct 24th, 2018, and got it a few days later in new and perfect condition. Will definitely order from Jomashop again...6/5 stars!!! PROs: - The unique, simple style blends both functionality and class -- This time piece can be worn for a variety of activities: work, play, casual, dress-up, etc. I’m not sure I’d wear it during more extreme sporting events, but it’s sturdy enough for most day-to-day activities. The front is covered by a sapphire crystal, and I absolutely love the day/date features and their locations at the top of the dial. Speaking of the dial, it’s beautiful! The outer portion behind the hour numerals consists of concentric circles that makes it look like a tiny vinyl record. The inner portion of the dial subtly contrasts with the outer portion as it is a uniform shimmery black. Watching the sweeping second hand moving at 6 bps/21,600 bph is really a joy. I also enjoy the watching movement work its magic through the skeleton case back, which is also covered by a sapphire crystal. The watch looks and wears very nicely on the wrist. The more I look at it, the more I love it! - Extremely accurate -- Average gain of 0.5 seconds/day after wearing it for eight days…not bad for not being C.O.S.C. “chronometer” certified! - Unbelievable value -- Picked mine up for $319.99 (no tax, no shipping) on Oct 24, 2018 (used a $20 off coupon)! NEUTRAL: - I’m used to bigger watches so the 40 mm case was a little smaller than I expected at first, but I quickly got over it because the watch is so beautiful! - The brown leather strap is nice overall, but it doesn't really fit my style and it was a little short. I replaced it with a black/gray Nato strap that really compliments the watch face and makes it pop. - The H-40 calibre movement reduced the bph from 28,800 to 21,600, but it also doubled the power reserve from 40 to 80 hours. - As far as I can tell, there is no anti-reflective coating on the sapphire crystal, but it’s really not a big deal to me. - People have mentioned that the stainless steel watch bezel scratches fairly easily, but mine is good so far. I’m not sure it would bother me much if it did. CONs: - The illumination is very dim, even in a darkly lit room. You can still make the time out (including the seconds hand), but it take a little straining.
