I wanted a simple understated "Chronometer".
This watch is just what I wanted, simple, accurate, handsome and well finished! I liked it so well I then purchased the same watch with the stainless bracelet! Very happy!

This watch is amazing for the money! Swiss made by Tissot which is part of the Swatch group. This watch has a Swiss ETA quartz movement with a battery life of approximately two years. The watch is 39 mm in diameter and 10 mm thick allowing a dress shirt sleeve to effortlessly slide over it. Beautiful black dial with date window (with cyclops) at the six O'clock position. Applied highly polished silver indices. Silver hour and minute hands with luminescence. Silver second hand with the Tissot "T" on the end for an "extra value" nice touch. Watch has hacking. Sapphire crystal, 100 meter water resistant, brushed stainless steel case with a highly polished bezel. Signed crown. The watch has a very nice Swatch group black leather strap which is very comfortable. It has a highly polished buckle with the Tissot logo engraved into it. To add to all that we've covered so far, this watch has the best packing of any watch at this price point. The attention to detail is quite impressive. It starts with an outer sliding cover. Underneath you will find a hard box with a faux leather type coating. The watch is around a pillow which has slots sewn onto the pillow. They fit over small "arms" that stick up and keep the pillow in place. There is one small compartment on each side of the pillow. The 209 page warranty booklet is contained in the right compartment. On the back side of the box is a compartment on the bottom containing two books. One is a 279 page book on the history of Tissot. The other is a 98 page catalog of Tissot watches. Again I've never seen packaging like this at this price point. VERY IMPRESSIVE! I absolutely love this watch. You can wear it as a dress watch or every day. It is extremely versatile and looks absolutely FANTASTIC on your wrist. It keeps GREAT time. I have been monitoring the movement and this watch has NOT LOST ONE SECOND SINCE I'VE OWNED IT!!!!! INCREDIBLE! You will LOVE this watch. For $200 I don't think you'll find a bigger bang for your money!
