Terrific Watch
The watch is very sleek and elegant. Does weigh on the lighter side though. Would recommend anyone starting their watch collection.

Simple Elegant Swiss
Tissot has a great history of producing quality affordable Swiss made watches. There may be a couple of other brands that may offer a bit higher quality at the same price (Victorinox/Certina) but neither have the history (if that matters to you) that Tissot has. Anyway, this watch strikes a nice balance between dressy and casual making it versatile for many situations. The size is listed at 39mm but I believe that is without the crown included. The slim bezel and short lugs make this watch seem bigger than it is because of how much face there is vs. case/bezel. And even though it is stainless steel, it is very light and comfortable. I believe this watch would be at home on many wrists (save for those with maybe 8.5'' wrists or larger). The dial is either a kind of shimmery off-white or very light silver, depending on the light. Speaking of the dial, it is very well done and I think one of the two highlights of this watch. The applied indicies, the dual finished hands, inner cyclops, and choice of fonts make this dial classy. The second highlight being the F06.411 movement. This is the same Precidrive movement used in many Certina watches but this one has been certified by the COSC to adhere to their accuracy standards. The F06.411 is a thermocompensated movement and as such should meet their criteria for accuracy. The COSC certification involves testing the movement under 3 temperatures and 2 different humidity levels. COSC states that a certified quartz movement should be accurate to within .07 seconds a day or about 25 seconds a year. This movement is actually specified to be more accurate than that at around +/- 15 seconds a year. But as with any mass produced item, I like knowing that the specific movement in this watch has been tested to be at least within the 25 second spec. It's cool knowing the movement in the watch was tested over 13 days and has been given a special serial number from COSC. The only downside to this watch is the bracelet. The end links are solid and it looks nice enough, however it does rattle and the clasp is on the "cheaper" side. However, should you chose, it should be easy enough to change. In summary, this is a good "value" Swiss made quartz. If you're considering a normal Pr 100 Tissot, I think it's really worth considering spending the few extra bucks to get the COSC model. Number one, I think the COSC model will be far more rare in the long run (ETA is phasing out the F06.411). Number two, you get the much higher rate of accuracy, +/- 15 seconds a year, vs month.
