Chopard
Chopard
Founded in 1860 by Louis-Ulysse Chopard, the Chopard watch company began modestly, as a Swiss manufacturer of precise pocket watches and chronometers. Though, the company consistently produced reliable timepieces and achieved enough success to relocate to Geneva in 1937, the world capital of fine watch-making, it was not until Karl Scheufele bought the company in 1963 that it began to gain a reputation in the luxury watch market. Unlike many luxury watch companies, Chopard operates as a manufacture, using predominantly in-house movements. In addition, Chopard is one of the few luxury brands that can attribute a significant amount of success to the development of ladies watches, such as the wildly popular Happy Diamonds line, first launched in 1976. Other Chopard landmarks include teaming up with Mille Miglia to produce high end racing watches, becoming the official sponsor of the Cannes film festival in 1998, and celebrating its 150th anniversary in 2010. This product is not a product authorized by the United States trademark owner for importation and is physically and materially different from the authorized product in that it contains foreign language documentation, has different warranty documentation and lacks the manufacturer's warranty. This watch is manufactured by Chopard for foreign distribution and therefore Jomashop provides its own two year warranty on this product. - Chronoswiss

HYT
HYT
Thousands of years ago, Pharoahs kept track of time using hydro-mechanical devices. Now, modern day engineers have invented the means to incorporate this concept into a one-of-a-kind wristwatch. Each watch dial has two flexible reservoirs that are attached to a capillary. One reservoir contains fluorescent liquid, the other clear liquid. Repulsive forces keep the two separate. Daily, the timekeeping liquid advances, and later, mysteriously reverses.

Jaeger LeCoultre
Jaeger LeCoultre
The Jaeger LeCoultre watch company was built upon principles of innovation. In 1903, Parisian watchmaker Edward Jaeger sought to establish a manufacturing relationship with a Swiss company to produce the ultra thin calibers he had invented. Antoine's grandson, Jacques-David LeCoultre, agreed to the collaboration. This resulted in a collection of thin, luxury pocket watches promptly purchased by Cartier, along with an agreement that the movements would be produced exclusively for the Cartier jewelry company for fifteen years. Swiss Military
Swiss Military
Hans Noll came to Biel in 1961, following a broad-based commercial career, and took over the European sales management responsibility for a mid-sized watch factory. In 1963, following a management changeover, he left this company to set up his own business with his wife. As sufficient capital was not available to buy a brand for himself, he used his imagination and blended the founder's name Hans Noll with the word Watch, giving birth to the brand name Hanowa. Already after only a few years, watches were being produced under own management, giving Hanowa right from the outset a reputation for fantasy watches (ring watches, pendant watches, clip watches, watch sets and much more). For the past 15 years, the company has adapted itself to the changing market trend and converted its production over to sports watches. Thus the "Swiss Military" brand was born. Soon afterwards sister brand "Swiss-Eagle" followed, appealing to the same target audience but offering special, exclusive models. The genuine Swiss Military brand captures the essence of military precision with multidimensional timepieces that sit at the pinnacle of innovation, function and design. - Swiss Precimax

The U-Boat name is a major force in the world of luxury watches; a notable accomplishment for its mere 12-year history. This Italian watch company derives its name from the marine-theme designs for which the company is best known. U-Boat models are unmistakable, with blocky crowns at the 9 o'clock position, thus situated in order to allow divers full wrist motion underwater, simple dials, often with Arabic Numerals at only the 4, 8 and 12 o'clock positions, and extremely oversized cases. U-Boat is the current world record holder for largest case size, measuring in at a massive 64.4 mm. Through a rigorously selective process in choosing materials, such as titanium, sterling silver, and 18k gold, in addition to details such as Superluminova hands and markers, U-Boats are regarded as some of the most desirable luxury models on the market. -

Zenith
Zenith
Named for the word "zenith", which means the highest point reached by a celestial body in the sky, the Zenith company has accumulated 1,565 awards for precision in watch-making. Founded in 1865 by Georges Favre-Jacot in Le Locle, Switzerland, Zenith was the first company to unite every step of watch production in a single building, a concept known as "the manufacture". Zenith continues to be one of the only surviving Swiss watch companies to produce its own movements in-house. Perhaps the most famous of the Zenith movements is the El Primero, the first integrated automatic chronograph movement produced. Launched in 1969, the El Primero continues to be the most precise series-made caliber, able to measure 1/10th of a second accurately, beating at 36,000 vibrations per hour with an impressive power reserve of 50 hours. The El Primero now comes in 23 different versions, with complications ranging from the simple small seconds to the elaborate "gravity control." In 2003, Zenith began showcasing this impressive movement with the help of a skeleton cut-out on the dial, making the watch both visually appealing as it is accurate.
