For looks alone, I give this 5 stars. I love wearing this during the weekends. This really caught my eye at Macy's department store last March 2014. Black and orange, how could you go wrong with that color combination on a rugged watch? It looks not really understated but not really bling-y or garish. For functions, it does have the usual stopwatch, timer, alarm, world time, 20 bar water resist, with that G-Shock durability they have been famous for. BUT, it could be a challenge for most to read the digital functions on this, due to the underwhelming LED backlight coupled with a negative display. The analog hands are the only way you could read the time at a glance.
To summarize, if you want an awesome looking analog/digital G-Shock that doesn't scream "Look at my G-Shock!", get the GA-110TS-1A4 to wear strictly during daytime. If you want readability anytime of the day with all the usual G-Shock features, look for a positive display G-Shock.
