Brown dial watch
This watch is a beauty. Rare to find a brown dial.
Nice little watch; terrible band.
First, I'd like to commend Jomashop: I placed my order 8-17-2019 (a Saturday, I must note) and I received the watch at my door 8-28-2019. This was with standard international shipping (I work and live in South Korea) for the tidy sum of only $9.99 U.S. That's only a week and a half, folks and it includes processing through customs. The watch is legible, a bit disappointing in its accuracy (+ 6 to 7 seconds per day), and delightfully light and thin on the wrist. The lume is surprisingly good, and if you wake up at 3:30 in the morning, you will be able to read the time, and even see the seconds-hand via its little illuminated spearpoint tip. The light-colored desert sand wristband, however, is bulky and doubles under the watch annoyingly to destroy the advantage of the watch's thin case. This band has leather accents and keepers, but why? A nylon band is wonderful on a watch like this because if it is splashed with water, it will just dry out as good as new. When it gets grungy from sweat and wear, wash it in dish-soap and scrub it with a soft toothbrush and it will look new; the leather accents, not so much. The first time I wound this watch, it went about 25 turns before hitting the stop. Begin SLOWLY so that you don't hit the stop with a lot of torque. After a week or so on the wrist, it seems that rewinding at the 36 hour mark takes about 18 turns; rewinding at 12 hour intervals requires about 7 turns; 24-hour rewinds need around 14 or 15 before hitting the stop. These are not precisely-measured turns: GO SLOWLY until you know your watch. This watch is worth the money. It is a real "value proposition."
Excellent everyday watch. Solid ETA movement. Quite accurate. What's not to like?
Very nice Swiss mechanical watch
Watch Care and Maintenance
Whilst I am quite happy with the watch , I cannot find any where any recommendation for care and maintenance of the watch . Mainly how many turns should you wind up the watch for a 24 hrs use , or do you recommend winding every 12 Hrs ? How many turns before the watch is fully wound up ? Do you recommend sending this watch for a clean every so often ? Kind regards , Nicolas Pozniakov
Best bang per buck Swiss
